"I can't believe you have never seen the the Titanic before!" Clary said with complete surprise.
"I didn't grow up in the mundane world, Clary." Jace said as if it were the most obvious answer to the simplest question, sitting down next to her.
"Well, we can fix this problem by watching the movie." Clary said with as much persuasion as her voice would allow. "It couldn't hurt anything, I mean, it's a little sad, but other than that it's a classic!"
"A little sad?"
"Okay, it's sad. But I want to watch it, and I want you to watch it with me."
"Will you cry?" Jace asked sarcastically.
"Maybe a little." Clary said innocently.

Clary's memory spell
Blue flames danced on the warlock's fingers Creating the spell he performed every two years. In a dark room a small girl with beautiful, red curls sat in a trance
"Jocelyn are you sure about this? She's old enough to understand ?" muttered a familiar voice Luke Jocelyn nodded into the darkness tears falling freely, seeing the way her daughters head was placed it was like someone had broken her neck. Magnus Bane ushered them out (at the sign that Jocelyn was ready) and turned towards the red headed girl. He clicked his practised fingers. The girl's eyes fluttered. Slowly coming to terms with where she was. The

He gave her a nonchalant wave, trying his best to ignore the way his stomach had flipped as their eyes had met. Her Mundane was also staring towards him, though it was clear he could still see nothing and was wondering what Clary was looking at. Jace stood up and smiled down at her, before heading towards the door. She would follow, he knew, they always followed.
The building he was leaning against was, as with all buildings in this part of the city, nothing out of the ordinary. Well, a little rundown, to be honest. Faded graffiti adorns the dusty bricks, while water drips continuously from a broken pipe. Puddles litter the ground, although
The blonde boy, the one that had an angel's face and the devil's temper, watches her go with a blank face. As soon as she'd turned her back, his face became still, devoid of emotion. It was as if she took all his cares with her, leaving him an empty shell. The others around the table, a tall boy with an agonized expression halfway hidden by his black hair and a broken man now only a fragment of what he had once been, are restraining him. The boy with golden hair hardly seems to notice- all he can do is stare after the girl that had just walked, fled more like, from the room.
Clary... he thinks, the thought tinged with regret and pain. What h
Clary was sitting in the living room of Lukes house with her legs drawn up close, doodling in her sketch pad. The pencil flowed easily over the page forming lines that formed shapes of things that would forever be in her memory. Her mother and Luke had gone to eat lunch and make sure that everything had been moved out of their old apartment. She and her mother had moved in with Luke after they had returned from Alicante.
She moved her thoughts back to her drawing. She had been working on a drawing of Alicante all day, and something about the picture just didnt seem right. She put her pencil back on the page and let her mind wan
She had left her sketchpad behind.
Jace had returned to his room intending to mark his body and arm himself, at the same time mentally planning how he could protect Clary is anything went wrong with the cup, yet he sight of her book lying open on his bed instantly distracted him.
Instinctively he reached out to pick it up, and then hesitated. She had been annoyed he had looked at without her permission it was like a diary, she had said. Yesterday Jace would have decided to respect her wishes, leave the sketchpad alone and not look at it again, despite the temptation. But now, thinking of Simon being in her room just as
You ready to go? Jace asked.
Clary looked over at him. They were sitting at the bar in Magnuss house at a party for something. She couldnt remember exactly what the occasion was. She nodded and got down from her chair.
What about Izzy and Alec? she said as she scanned the room. She saw Izzy talking to a faerie knight and Alec and Magnus were on the other side of the room.
They can take care of themselves, Jace said following her gaze. He turned back to her. Lets ditch this joint.
He placed his hand at the small of her back and guided her towards the door. He grabbed her lig
Ok so this is about 3 hours ahead and Clary is in Jace's room, still holding his hand. Jace has fallen into a coma and Clary is trying to wake him by talking to him. Valentine has been taken to the library and is being watched until he's taken to the city of glass to be held prisoner.

"I remember the first night we meet. I thought you absolutely crazy and gorgeous" Clary laughed "crazy because you kept on telling me that demons and vampires lived. I never believed it at first but that was only because I didn't want to believe there were worse things out there than us but when I saw you again I knew that if I wanted to be with you I had
SPOILERS, PEOPLE. FOR CITY OF GLASS.
Do you remember the way he smiled, the way he said your name? Do you recall those things he told you, the moments he stole with you? Have you forgotten the day he said those three little words, the ones that now leave you so heartbroken? You dare to dream of having these things, little girl? How foolish you are, how blind. You don't see the lies, the reasons for what he did. If you found out... but you want to know, don't you? Let me tell you then, silly child, Jace died in your place. You should have been there, should have been the one struck down, not he. After all, you know he loved you, too.
